Lauren Albert, DPT

Lauren earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the MGH Institute of Health Professions and began her career with advanced clinical mentorship at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. She spent 3 years providing intensive rehabilitative services to a complex neurological population on the traumatic brain injury floor. 

Lauren later worked as a traveling physical therapist, delivering care across diverse healthcare systems nationwide. This experience broadened her clinical perspective and exposed significant gaps in the current healthcare model. Motivated to provide a higher standard of care and to encourage a proactive approach to aging, she founded The Movement Experts. She believes that every adult deserves the opportunity to move with strength, confidence, and independence to maximize their quality of life.

In addition to her private practice, Lauren serves as a lab instructor for doctoral physical therapy students at the Institute of Health Professions, and continues to practice per diem at Spaulding Hospital to remain actively engaged in complex clinical care.

Outside the clinic, she draws on her background as a former Division 1 lacrosse All-American to maintain an active lifestyle. She enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and training for athletic competitions. 

She is currently training for the Boston Marathon and the Hyrox world championship.
